Located at the northern end of the Carman River, this tranquil place can let us envision what life was like along the river during the times of Samuel Carman.
This beautiful old house was built by Robert Hewlett Hawkins in 1850	.
Just behind the house is  this marvelous view of the river, which has been dammed just below this point to widen it into a small lake on the river.
