John Milton Hay

John Milton Hay was a very influential man as Personal Secretary to President Lincoln. He was an expert at working the newspapers of his time and a "Spin-Doctor" before his time. Books have been written about him and many photos still exist of hi with various men of political power of the time. And all this when he was a very young man in his twenties!

The genealogy of William Hay I am still looking for.  However I strongly suspect that he will turn up in the family tree of Edith Carman Hay in the end. - any help would be appreciated. There are also some other descendants looking for answers. - thanks in advance.
