William Weymouth8 Carman (William7, Richard6, Benjamin5, Benjamin4, Caleb3, John2, John1) was born 26 September 1804 in New Brunswick, and died 3 January 1885 at Fredericton, New Brunswick. He married first, on 29 October 1827, Ann Elizabeth Dean, daughter of Joseph Dean and sister of Jemima who married William's brother Henry. William married second on 5 February 1859, Sophia Maria Bliss, born 26 October 1828, died 1886, daughter of George Pidgeon and Sarah (Wetmore) Bliss (George Pidgeon Bliss being grandson of John Murray Bliss, Solicitor General of New Brunswick and Judge of the Superior Court, and great-grandson of Hon. Daniel Bliss who was a Loyalist and fled Boston at it's evacuation). William W. Carman was Prothonatory ( I have no idea what that is )of the Supreme Court, Clerk of the Crown Records.
