Stephen Carman, the youngest of Richard Carman the Loyalist, was born 7 April 1805 at Maugerville, Sunbury, New Brunswick. He was living in Fredericton in 1879 and died there 3 April 1890. He married 9 September 1830 at Lancaster, St. John, New Brunswick, Ann Maria Tilton, born 9 September 1811, died 27 January 1879 at St. Mary, York, New Brunswick, daughter of William and Mary Tilton.
