Sarah⁶ Carman (Adam⁵, Benjamin⁴, Caleb³, John², John¹) was born 20 November 1762 in Oyster Bay, Queens County, New York. She died 21 December 1846 in Hallowell, Prince Edward County, Ontario and is buried in the Hallowell Village Cemetery.  She married Joseph Garret as first husband with no issue. Second she married Isaac Garret, born 6 May 1759 in Dutchess County, New York, died 17 June 1841 in Hallowell, Prince Edward County, Ontario and is also buried in the Hallowell Village Cemetery. Isaac had married as his first wife, Mary Carman, sister of this Sarah Carman.  Isaac Garrett's brother is Benjamin Garrett who married Sarah's sister Margaret Carman.
