Royal Gene¹¹ Carman (Charles¹⁰, Ira⁹, William⁸, David⁷, John⁶, John⁵, Joseph⁴, Joseph³, John², John¹) was born 7 November 1917 in Iowa; died 2 September 1950 in South Korea.  He married 4 April 1944 to Joyce Chisholm.  I am not aware whether there were any children from this marriage.

Royal was an E-4 in the United States Army when he was killed in action in the Korean War.
