Ellen⁸ Carman (Jacob⁷, Jacob⁶, Adam⁵, Benjamin⁴, Caleb³, John², John¹) was born 25 November 1808, died 26 October 1886. She married 9 January 1825 in Sangamon County, Illinois to Charles Broadwell, born 3 December 1800 in Hamilton County, Ohio, died 1854 in Perkins, Illinois, son of Moses and and Jane Broadwell.
