Elizabeth⁷ Carman (Richard⁶, Benjamin⁵, Benjamin⁴, Caleb³, John², John¹) was  born 19 April 1800 in St Johns, New Brunswick, Canada; died 23 February 1858 in Maugerville, Sunbury, New Brunswick. She married on 28 October 1823 at Carlton Chapel, St Johns, New Brunswick to George Miles, born 1803 in Maugerville, Sunbury, New Brunswick; died 21 April 1840 in Maugerville, Sunbury, New Brunswick, son of Captain Elijah and second wife Elizabeth (Harding) Miles.

Watercolor painting by an artist named McDonald.  After her husband George died, she and her son Elijah farmed the place, the second house of Elijah the Loyalist in Maugerville, New Brunswick, where she died.
