Andrew⁸ Carman (John⁷, Andrew⁶, John⁵, Caleb⁴, John³, Caleb², John¹) was born 5 December 1809 in Harford County, Maryland and at about the age of six was raised in Wayne Township, Jefferson County, Ohio where he lived most of his life. He married first on 18 March 1832 in Jefferson County, Ohio to Ann Oliver, born about 1809 in Pennsylvania. He married second on 10 July 1835 in Jefferson County, Ohio to Isabelle Maxwell, born 1811 in Ohio, she died in 1872 and is buried in the Unionport Cemetery, Wayne Township, Jefferson County, Ohio.

	Enoch Carman
	Oliver Carman - died in the Civil War, 29 May 1865 at Arlington Heights, Virginia. He enlisted 3 September 1862 with the Company C, Maryland 7th Infantry as a private. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
